"This is my second year as the yearbook adviser at McLean. Our first year, we had Rick Brooks, Creative Design manager at Jostens, come in and design a new, timeless cover. Listening to our marketing team and Head of School - he nailed the concept. The cover came out beautifully and was well received across the board. Everyone is excited to keep this cover art for years to come.
This year, working with Jen, has been tremendous. She is a fantastic source of information and support who provides you the space to accomplish what you need to do but is there at the drop of a hat when you need her. This year we started business ads for the first time in school history, and Jen helped us get up and running with great information, templates, examples, and experience. We also had some hiccups with deadlines and Jen made sure that we would receive our books on time so not to disappoint the students. She gets things done! We use the online program, which has been great for beginner and more intermediate users. The functionality has allowed the kids to work off of templates, design elements, or even a blank page to design a book that fit our theme. It makes creating a yearbook very manageable. With a guaranteed balanced budget and great adviser/staff support, Jen and Jostens have been absolutely terrific!"

"I did yearbook for 8 years, back in the old days. When I started, layouts were drawn by hand, and photos were submitted in the low-tech way. By year three, I was able
to create the layouts on PageMaker. I took 8 or 9 years off, and came back to the world of yearbook three years ago. Jostens was always the company our school used. I had one rep for the 8 years at Hoover, and another for the first two years at Pyle. They were both very helpful, made sure I knew what I needed to do, helped teach me the new technology, and were responsive when I had questions or problems. I always felt like I had strong support at Jostens. My experience this year with Jennifer has been all that and so much more. She has been helpful and supportive in so many proactive ways, efficiently responsive to all my questions and concerns, and she has been patient, understanding and supportive in so many ways above and beyond. This has been the most difficult and challenging year I've ever had as yearbook adviser, and Jen eased so much of my stress by reassuring me that the world was not going to come to an end because I was missing my deadlines. She really was beside me every step of the way, constantly offering whatever help and support she could. I wish I'd had time to take her up on it, but it was very helpful to have her as a "lighthouse" during the storm, reassuring me that we were close enough to the shore, and we might, indeed, land without crashing. It has been a great year working with Jen! Our plant consultant is also wonderful and always incredibly helpful!"

"Since Jen Massey has taken over my account, we have focused heavily on sales and promotions. She spent a day in class with us role playing ad selling techniques – I thought the day was going to be painful, but the students were excited. In fact, they were literally jumping out of their seats to be the next seller (who would have thought it?). Since business has been my area of weakness for so long, it's refreshing to have a new perspective. Her optimism is infectious as well – the students all love her (of course they do, she brings them candy); she is always available when I need her, she returns emails quickly, and she stops by to check on me. What more could I ask for? Jen is flexible, understanding, and supportive and I know how lucky I am to work with her."

"I have been the yearbook advisor for the past 4 years and have worked with Jostens ever since. I will never claim to have an "artistic eye" for anything but I do know what I like and what I do not like. Jostens has always provided a professional quality product that makes the experience enjoyable. I have had a number a yearbook companies call and visit me about getting their yearbook business, but the quality work (even from their promotional samples) have not compared to the work from Jostens. From the easy to use online application to the customer service and technical support representatives at the main plant – it is a great experience all the way around. While I did not work on last year's book with our previous publisher, I can tell already that this year's book and experience is far better than previous years.
